Cheryl is our founder with a passion to walk the talk. She is a retired IRS executive with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning 37 years of government service. She has a Criminal Justice Degree with a minor in Social Work from Florida State University.

Chief Operations Officer

Board Member

Yenesa, co-founder of the nonprofit manages daily operations including information technology, volunteer services, and product quality assurance and distribution. She has an AAS degree in Paralegal Studies, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Baltimore.

Board Member

Nick is a Scientist at the National Weather Service, where he has worked for 19 years. He plays a crucial role in bringing analytical and technological thought to the decision making process. He has a Bachelors of Science Degree from Frostburg State University in Environmental Science with studies in System Engineering and Program Management.

Board Member

Sarah is the Director of Rockville Nursery School and Kindergarten, where she has worked for 18 years. Her program leadership and creative skills add true depth to the decision making process. She has dual Bachelors of Arts Degrees in Early Childhood & Elementary Education with graduate work from Frostburg State University 

Board Member

Charles Veney III, a military veteran,  is principal owner of Exit Platinum Executive Realty in Baltimore, Maryland and an active Legislative Committee Member of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors. He has a B.S. in Real Estate and Economic Development from the University of Baltimore. He has an extensive and eclectic background in the entertainment, travel, and automotive industries that adds knowledge and value to the Board.
